NOTICES AND REMINDERS

1: A REMINDER TO ALL:

ALL RUBBISH placed in the bins areas must be in a black bin liner. Refuse collection do not remove rubbish left in carrier bags. Also they will not remove household items from the bin area. Items often left there such as: microwaves, toasters, plates, clothes, and plants will NOT be removed along with bin collections. Where the owner is identified, they will be charged for the cost of removal.

To find out where such items can be taken to, please see Tab: 'Rubbish' and follow instructions with approved disposal site listed along with the address.

As regards the recycling area, Ealing council does not currently have a provision for taking plastics or cardboard from blocks of flats. Please do not leave these items in the recycling area. Again the bin men will not remove them.

2: REPLACEMENT OF PORCHES:

Later this year all the porches will be replaced with aluminum ones. These will be in keeping with the current design.  All residents will be informed closer the time when 'their' porch is to be replaced.

3: GARDENING:

The gardening team have undertaken a good 'sort out' of some of the communal gardens. This involved removing dead and unwanted shrubs, replanting new ones and shaping some of the current shrubbery.  As if often the case when this happens, the end result will take a little while to take shape. We appreciate your patience.

4: GATES:

The gates to the smaller car park have now been refabricated and galvernised. Due to going through the insurance company, the repair process has unfortunately taken longer than anticipated. Wishing to keep the newly restored gates in pristine condition, please   report the details of anyone found vandalising or hitting the gates whilst in their vehicle, including registration number, to us straight away.

5: METER CUPBOARD DOORS

If allowing someone to come in and read the meters, please request that they lock the meter cupboard door once they are finished.  Doors left unlocked pose a hazard in the event of a fire escape.
